1. Trail of Tears

Write a story from the perspective of a Native American being relocated on the Trail of Tears.

2. Jefferson and Adams

Thomas Jefferson and John Adams died on the same day, July 4th, 1826, 50 years after the signing of the Declaration of Independence. John Adams' last words were "Thomas Jefferson survives." Write a scene that takes place at one or both of their death beds.

3. Allied Letters

Write a series of letters between an Allied soldier who is stationed abroad and his fianc� who is waiting for him in England.
