1. Napoleon Journal Entry

Write an imagined journal entry from Napoleon Bonaparte on the island of St. Helena after his exile (it doesn't have to be in French.) What does he focus on, the past or the present? What is his state of mind? What are some conclusions he has come to about his life?

2. Jack the Ripper Monologue

Write an internal monologue from Jack the Ripper that takes place throughout a normal day (not during a murder.)

3. Faulkner and Hemingway Scene

William Faulkner and Ernest Hemingway had a very public feud throughout their lifetimes. Write a dialogue between the two men when they accidentally run into each other at a cocktail party.
